‘Home’, for the 4th of July

Not that I really am all about needing to get my patriotism on, but it is the 4th of July here in the United States, so I thought I’d do something to pay tribute to that fact.

Last year Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros put out their album Up From Below. I haven’t spent a great deal of time with it, but there’s one song that I’ve enjoyed a lot, and sortof hit on a sentimental vibe that seemed appropriate for the holiday.

That said, I am looking forward to some fireworks to take my mind off what a fantastic mess this country is in.
